Thanking and Saying Goodbye

I have attended the English class last Saturday before me going to my family day. However, I used to ask my tutor permission to going back early around 12 o’clock. I have learned appropriate language use when thanking and saying goodbye. We were introduced to different forms of expressing their thanks and goodbyes by practicing dialogues or role plays in the classroom.

Example of practice:

Based on the situations on the pictures given, in group of 3, we were asking for create our own dialogues.

Picture: Two men at the information service counter. One is an information counter staff and one of them just leaves the counter.

Dialogues:

A: Thank you for giving me the right direction.

B: You’re welcome. I hope you will reach safely at your destination.

A: Thanks. I will.

B: Not at all. Bye.
